Rodden Road Post Office re-opened under new management this weekend.

The branch closed temporarily in July 2023 following the resignation of the Post Office's retail partner and the closure of the convenience store.

The shop has now re-opened under new management as a SPAR store and the owners successfully applied for Rodden Road Post Office.

The opening hours are: Monday to Saturday: 9am – 6pm.

This provides 54 hours of Post Office service a week for the convenience of customers.

The same range of Post Office products and services will be available.

Antoinette Chitty, Post Office Network provision lead, said: "We are delighted to have restored Post Office services to Rodden Road as we know how important a Post Office is to a community.

"I know that the local community will join me in welcoming this good news and hope that our customers will continue to use this service."
