...Iona FitzGerald and Suzy Fellows from Citizens Advice Mendip.

Calling all landlords, renters and Frome locals who want to make renting better! Pop the Frome Renting Alliance September event in your diaries to meet others and hear these excellent speakers deliver the answers on tenancy problems like rent arrears and housing debt.

Iona is Campaign and Research Lead and both speakers are Advice Session Supervisors for Citizens Advice Mendip and even though their inboxes are very full right now they are fitting in the event because they know how important the loss of the CAB office was to Frome residents.

This is our third event where we bring anyone involved in renting in Frome together so they can network, share experiences and hear great advice. The events are held upstairs at the Cheese and Grain and start at 7:30pm. There is a bar available as well as tea and coffee. One renter told us after the July event 'I wasn't sure whether to come or not because I didn't know what to expect but I'm really glad I did, it's been so helpful.'

Vicki Burke, Fair Housing for Frome Director and one of the organisers said 'Frome needed a space to talk properly about renting issues, away from the divisions and noise of social media, so we formed the Frome Renting Alliance where everyone is welcome and the focus is on improving renting and unpicking some of the problems. We hope you can join us.'
