Somerset residents are being advised not to call the NHS 111 service if they think they have coronavirus.
The NHS 111 service provides 24/7 service to people who need urgent medical advice but aren't sure which service they should access.
NHS England has advised people not to call the service as the coronavirus epidemic spreads, for fear it could stop medical resources being directed to those who need it the most.
People can still access the online NHS 111 service – but those who feel they have the virus are advised to self-isolate and remain at home.
The 111 service entails answering questions about your symptoms either online or over the phone by fully trained advisers.
Depending on the symptoms described, individuals may be connected to a nurse, GP or dentist, given a face-to-face appointment, told how to get medicine they need, or given advice about self-care.

NHS England has not provided data on which areas of the country have the highest demand for the 111 service – but has issued advice about how and when it should be used.
A spokesman said: "Understandably, calls to NHS 111 have rocketed in recent weeks as the coronavirus outbreak has spread, and people inevitably had to wait longer.
"However, in line with the government's decision on March 12, people with possible coronavirus symptoms should not now routinely call NHS 111 instead.
"As the chief medical officer says, they should stay at home for 7 days, without the need for testing.
"They can also use NHS 111 online as needed, because anyone who routinely calls NHS 111 about mild symptoms, risks people with life-threatening conditions not being able to get the care and attention they need."
