Frome residents urged to visit the Silk Mill to hear plans for a 'better space' for the town

This evening (May 14) until 7 pm and tomorrow 10am until 4pm, an exhibition and focus on an alternative option for the centre of Frome at the Silk Mill.

You can get to meet the architects and share your views with your feedback shaping Mayday Saxonvale's submission for outline planning approval in June 2021.

Those plans include a lido and, already proving popular, a covered market and campaigners are keen to stress that the current Mendip plans are by no means all over and agreed.

The area is the last undeveloped town site centre in Mendip - and they are adamant the town deserves better.
