There will be temporary traffic lights on the A362 at Wallbridge this week to enable work to the railway bridge to take place.

The multi-way lights will be in place around the bridge from Monday November 18 to Friday November 22, to allow Network Rail to remove vegetation from the bridge, following complaints about the state of the structure.

Other roadworks in Frome this week include:

Broadway should reopen on Friday evening following the closure for pavement works, while the notice for the closure of Eagle Lane for Studio Prints to carry out works to the property runs out on Sunday November 24.

From Wednesday November 20 to Friday, there will be multi-way temporary traffic lights at the junction of Clink Road and Brunel Way for Wessex Water to undertake some repairs, and similar work will take place under two-way lights in Selwood Road.

From Monday to Friday, there will be temporary traffic lights in Spring Gardens to enable Wessex Water to repair a sewer.

Between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Tuesday November 19, there will be temporary traffic lights in Welshmill Lane, so Network Rail can work on the railway bridge.

On the same day, the Wales and West Utilities work to repair a gas leak on the B3090 Bath Road, and the Bristol Water repair work outside of Asda should both be completed.

On Monday and Tuesday, patching work should take place in Wallbridge Avenue, and Wessex Water will be repairing a sewer in Trinity Row.

From Tuesday to Thursday November 21, Bristol Water will be installing talbot boxes and fitting meters in Holmbury Close, Chestnut Close and Chaffinch Avenue, and Virgin Media will be working in Victoria Road.

From Wednesday to Friday, Bristol Water will be working in Park Road.

On Monday, the Wales and West Utilities work to lay a new service in Dorset Close should be finished, as should the Bristol Water work to install a new talbot box and meter in Linnet Way.

On Tuesday, Bristol Water works to install new talbot boxes and meters should be completed in Westcott Close and Woodhayes Road.

The same day should see Wales and West Utilities works in Manor Road and Woodhayes Road being finished, and Scottish Southern Power Distribution's emergency work Woodland Road.

Finally, the works on the footway between Pedlars Grove and Over Innox should be completed on Friday.
