It was a quiet weekend at The Lane this week as the sub temperatures hit Frome and the South West it meant that nearly all rugby activity was cancelled or postponed.

Frome RFC's 1st & 2nd XV's we're both due to be in league action but with the freezing temperatures in Frome the pitches at The Lane were deemed unsafe halting any rugby and saw the 2nd XV's home fixture against Swanage & Wareham RFC postponed. The 1st XV's away fixture to Keynsham RFC was also postponed. Sunday's Academy fixture was also cancelled.

Sunday's Minis & Juniors fixtures (and training) was also cancelled or postponed with the pitches continuing to be unplayable, also topped off with a flurry of snow.

Now the focus looks towards this weekend's fixtures with the 1st XV hosting Matson RFC at The Lane, whilst the 2nd XV make the trip to Bath to face Walcot RFC.

The Minis & Juniors return with a combination fixtures and training as the enjoy their last weekend before the Christmas break.
