They have been going since 1999 and have never put up their prices.

But now Somerset Storage by the Frome railway line have informed clients that their charges will be increasing by 20 per cent in February.

One of those who will be facing that increase is Barty's Trading Company which is Frome based and has rented from the company for around seven years.

They contacted Nub News to say : " We have rented from them for many years. We thought it was a bit of an overwhelming price increase all in one go. "

The Glastonbury-based company wrote to all the companies which use the site to say that in all the time they have been in operation they had never increased rental prices.

But that : "Unfortunately, we have experienced huge increase in overheads especially over the last 12 months.

"Therefore I am regretfully writing to all customers to inform you that as of February 2022, there will be a 20 per cent increase in the rental charges."

Frome Nub News has approached them for a comment.
