Frome Town Council elections 2019 - Berkley Down, Market and Oakfield results

It has been a clean sweep so far for Independents for Frome in the 2019 Frome Town Council elections, as they have taken seven more seats.
In Frome Berkley Down, the group's Anita Jane Collier topped the polls with 750 votes, followed by her colleagues Andy Palmer with 691 and Ali Barclay with 645 to take the three seats. The Conservative Eve Berry got 354, followed by Labour's Kate Preston with 109 and Julia Marilyn Wellard with 99. Turnout was 32.2 per cent.
Frome Market saw the Independents for Frome candidate Nicholas Stephen John Dove get the most votes with 807, just a couple more than his colleague Mark Crispin Dorrington with 805, to see the two take the seats. The Labour Party's Rosie Mitchell and Marc James Peel got 187 and 141 votes respectively. The turnout was 36.3 per cent.
And in Frome Oakfield, the two seats were taken by Independents for Frome's Maxine Susan Crawley and Paul Andrew Horton with 650 and 567 votes respectively. The Labour Party's David Ramsay Sibbald received 133 votes. Turnout was 41.1 per cent.
