The Keep Frome 5G Free group is hoping Frome Town Council will follow the town clerk's recommendation and oppose 5G.

At its meeting, starting at 7pm on Wednesday July 17, the town council will discuss its position on the rollout of 5G - it is item four on the agenda.

In his report to the council, town clerk Paul Wynne concludes: "Frome Town Council has a moral responsibility to protect public health and the local environment. Until there is a consensus that 5G wireless radiation is harmless to humans and the environment, FTC adopts the precautionary principle and opposes the roll out 5G in the town."
