Frome Town Football Club will tonight (August 14) play a team from Bristol Rovers, hoping perhaps to match their 4:0 win against Warminster earlier this week.

The club at Badgers Hill has also announced that it will be holding its open day on Saturday 29th August - when they will officially announce their new stadium name.

Everyone will be required to complete the club's online track and trace form before arriving, with the day kicking off (excuse the pun) at 11-12 am - with the first team squad holding an open training session.

After that there will be an opportunity for up to 64 children to also take part in a training session. But you need to sign up in advance and book your free place. You can do that by clicking HERE: the BA11 website

Meanwhile The Robins have added three new friendlies to their 2020/21 pre-season schedule, including a home fixture against National League side Yeovil Town.

Danny Greaves' side will also face Western League opposition in Cribbs and Radstock Town, however the match at Yate Town has been postponed.

All the fixtures are currently scheduled to be played behind closed doors.

The schedule is :

Bristol Rovers U23's (H) Friday 14th August

Malmesbury Victoria (A) Tuesday 18th August

Shepton Mallet (A) Saturday 22nd August

Cribbs (H) Tuesday 25th August

Radstock (A) Tuesday 1st September

Yeovil Town (H) Saturday 5th September
