It was local derby night last night (September 1) as Frome Town FC played The Miners from Radstock down the road.

A spectator said it was a good match with Radstock Town FC putting in the first goal again The Robins.

They told Nub News : " Good match with Radstock scoring first, then Frome showed why they are two leagues above and showed pace and good finishing. Good match for both teams."

Final score, Frome 5: Radstock 1.

Meantime all tickets for Frome's Friday home game against Yeovil Town are sold out. The team will be expecting a reversal of the rankings as they will be playing up against a tough side.

Fans from Yeovil are being asked not to travel to Frome for the evening match without a ticket.

Founded in 1895, Yeovil Town are in the National League, the fifth tier of the English football league system.

While Frome play in the Southern League Division One South.
