Just a few hours to go: Frome Town Supporters Club boost the Club's fundraiser with a very welcome £1,000

With just a few hours to go, the fundraiser for Frome Town Football Club has had a major boost from its supporters.

The Save our #BA11 Community fund has now hit 89 per cent of its target.

Last night the Frome Town Supporters Club donated £1,000 - bringing the total to within kicking distance of the £20,000 goal.

Late last night (May 11) there were a late flurry of smaller donations, along with some anonymous pledges totalling an impressive £500.

The Robins have come up with a number of inventive ways to encourage donors, with a chance to have the stadium renamed, an opportunity to become a football coach for a day, and to buy a named seat up at Badger's Hill.
