Fans of Frome FM will already know this local valuation expert - but what you may not know is that this Cooper & Tanner staff member, who is about to start a regular column for Nub News, worked at Sotherby's for five years.

Gareth Wasp has the absolute top credentials for what he does.

He is a member of National Association of Auctioneers and Valuers and amazingly has worked in the antiques industry since the age of 14.

He started work in a local auctioneers, then at 17 worked at the globally-recognised Sotheby's for five years.

He then went on to work in various other auctioneers, including Hanson's, and been auctioneering for approximately eight years.

Originally from Sussex and Gareth has lived in Somerset for the past eight years.

He will be offering his expert thoughts on antiques, jewelry, paintings and posters...in fact anything you might collect, for Frome Nub News in the coming weeks.
