The town is already getting ready for Christmas -but there is a lot happening before the big man arrives.

On Friday: At the Tree House in Frome remember the bar in Bristol which played non stop Africa on loop ? THIS will NOT last 12 hours but expect the soaring melodies, blistering guitar solos and stunning vocal harmonies of Toto's classic hits, all thanks to their tribute band.

On Saturday - the first of a series of Lantern Workshops for the famed parade, This one at Frome Town Library. Details of that and all of those coming up HERE Can anything beat this - a foxy number from last year? The theme this year is ice. Nice.

On Sunday - at Frome's Memorial Theatre THIS Have you got a problem ? How do you find and keep love? What does it mean to you to be content? Are other people just annoying or are you the problem? Then you need to head to see Philippa Perry.

Oh and a date for your diary - get carving for this great local charity, at the Cheese & Grain. Details on the poster.
