It very nearly did not happen, but right now over 241 addresses in Frome have signed up for this year's Window Wanderland.

If you were not aware of this, it is a chance for residents to get creative with their windows, and is on tonight, Sunday and Monday from 5.30-9pm.

You can find the windows listed on the team's Facebook page click HERE their site with spotters encouraged to post photos (@fromewindowwanderland) of the windows they see.*

This year there are also displays from Vallis First school, Sunflower Montessori Nursey and Pepperbox Nursery, too.

Organisers told Nub News : "This year because of government restrictions due to covid we need to share these Covid-19 guidelines: please adhere to the latest Government guidelines on social distancing; only go round in your household groups; wear a mask if possible; give one another space when looking at displays and please don't knock on other people's doors. "

They would like to thank Frome Town Council for funding via the People's Budget last year and also Black Swan Arts for their continued support.

" We'd also like thank people so much for taking part (either as a maker or as a wanderer) in this year's Frome Window Wanderland, it really can only happen because of the enthusiasm and commitment of the lovely people of Frome and it has been the toughest of years for so many, we really can't emphasise enough how grateful we are. "

  • You will need to go to the 'Community' part on the page menu to be able to post and use links @fromewindowwanderland and @windowwanderland and hashtags #fromewindowwanderland #windowwanderland for all social media posts.

The windows can be found on Facebook, and on Instagram www.instagram.com/fromewindowwanderland/ and also on Twitter https://twitter.com/fromewanderland?s=08
