The central Frome cafe and arts centre Black Swan has closed today (October 29) after one of the cafe staff members showed symptoms of coronavirus.

As a precaution the whole site is closing for 48 hours.

On social media, Black Swan posted: "We have found out today that a member of our cafe staff is showing symptoms for COVID-19. While we await test results, we are taking the precaution of closing the arts centre for at least 48 hours until we have test results back.

"Since carefully re-opening in the summer, we have done everything we can to ensure the building is a safe place to visit and review our systems each week. We have track and trace records in place, should we need to contact anyone. Thank you for your understanding, stay safe."
