Frome's newest theatre company, Really Truly, has been selected to take its latest play, Mind Set, to the Bath Elevate Festival.

Set up by playwright and local resident Polly Lamb in 2021 as the country emerged from lockdown, the group will feature as the prestigious Saturday night finale at the Theatre Royal Egg Auditorium.

Mind Set, which premiered at this year's Frome Festival, is a funny and touching play following three strong women whose friendship is tested to extraordinary (and often hilarious) limits as conspiracy theory begins to dominate the life of one of them.

Shocking layers of truth are peeled away as the friends try to work out what really matters.

Mind Set is Polly Lamb's third play and follows the success of Lockdown Blues, which premiered at the Frome Festival in 2022 and was later staged at the Elevate Festival; and Celebrate Me, which enjoyed sell out shows in Frome and Bath last year.

The cast of Mind Set includes local actors Rosie Allerhand, Suzy Howlett and Tracey Ashford.

If you missed Mind Set the first time round in Frome, now is your chance to catch it in the city as this talented all-women team take the show to The Bath Theatre Royal, Egg Auditorium on Saturday 7 September, 8pm.
