Local inn receives coveted five-star AA rating

A local inn has been awarded with the prestigious five-star rating by the AA, along with a coveted AA Dinner Award.

The Full Moon Inn, Lower Rudge, said the "incredible achievement" is "testament to the hard work an dedication" of its team.

Following a recent inspection the AA's report was filled with praise for the 17th century pub.

"The Full Moon Inn impressed for its many qualities, this was a most enjoyable visit, to a well-managed establishment, a small focused team, delivering friendly hospitality and attentive service in a delightful environment," it said.

"The meal taken did impress for ingredient quality and cookery, AA Dinner Award deserved - we look forward to the coming food journey here.

"Inspection results enable an easily reached Five Star Inn classification, a notable achievement."

The Full Moon has five rooms available, all of which were renovated in 2023.

Following the award, the team said: "We couldn't be prouder of our hardworking staff who continuously strive to provide the best experience for our guests.

"A special thank you goes to our talented kitchen team, whose culinary skills have significantly contributed to our AA Dinner Award.

"Their dedication to using high-quality ingredients and delivering exceptional dishes is truly commendable.

"We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to you, our loyal customers. Your continued support and patronage have been instrumental in our success. We look forward to welcoming you back to The Full Moon Inn, where you can enjoy our award-winning hospitality and dining.
