It's not long now untilthe fifth annual Frome Window Wanderland, which is being held this year from Friday 4th to Monday 7th March, 5.30 - 9pm each evening.

After a difficult year of holding events in 2021, hopefully we will be able to get back to a more normal Wanderland experience this year and organisers are hoping people will embrace the opportunity to get involved! Frome Window Wanderland is a fun community event where anyone can make a display in their own window and light it up for others to wander around and enjoy. The eventfollows the February half-term break and organisersare holding several workshops at Black Swan Arts in the run-up to the event, giving adults and children the opportunity to create window decorationsto take home to display as well as join together to create a Community Window at the Black Swan Arts Centrefor Frome Window Wanderland 2022. If you are stuck for inspiration for your window display, Frome Window Wanderland have linked with The Good Heart cafe this year as part of their 'Frome Kindness Festival' (1st-6th March) and so are suggesting if you need a spark of inspiration that 'Kindness' could be the key?

Making a display can be as simple as hanging your favouritepiece of clothing in it, placing your favouritebook in the window, or maybe a front room disco or performance, it is completely up to you. Or you could lend your window to someone else who wants to make a display...?

There will be downloadable maps of different areas of Frome this year, so you can plan your route and go for a wander in your neighbourhood.

Black Swan Arts shop are now selling beautiful A2 posters of Frome Window Wanderland 2021 which show over 80 of the windows created for last year's event. They are £12, come in a carboard tube so they can be posted, and look great framed.
