One of Frome's most colourful businesses is holding a sale over the summer – to help clear out some of its selection of 30,000 costumes.

Bath Theatrical Costume Hire, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, has collected a fabulous array of costumes over the last half-a-century. Many of which have been used in theatre, film and TV productions.

Managing Director, Rusette Auton, said:

"Don't worry, we're not closing – as some of our customers thought when we announced we were having a sale!

We're just having a 'car boot' with a huge variety of colourful outfits ready to be picked up.

Despite the turbulent time the theatre and events industry has had over the last year, people are still super keen and excited to dress up!

The Bath Theatrical Summer Bargain Sales is simple. You buy a bag, at £5, £10 or £20 and whatever you can fit in you take home.
