Grandparents share stories with the children at Frome Vallis First School
Grandparents were invited into Vallis First School last Friday.
The children had such an exciting morning listening to and sharing stories with their own and other children's grandparents. The children talked about their favourite stories and listened with interest as the grandparents shared theirs.
This celebration of books and reading was part of the school's World Book Day activities. Later that day, teachers enthusiastically read their favourite stories with children in different classes across the school.
