Have your say on ambulance care at South West patient panel meeting
The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) is encouraging residents across the South West to share their views on local ambulance care by joining their next Patient Participation Panel meeting.
The virtual meeting, scheduled for Friday, 13 December from 10am to 11.30am via Microsoft Teams, provides an opportunity for patients and members of the public to voice their experiences, concerns, and suggestions. Feedback from the panel will play a crucial role in shaping the future of ambulance services across the region.
Deanne Hill, Patient Engagement Manager at SWASFT, said: "We are always looking for ways to improve the care and service we provide. We are keen to identify what matters most to our local communities, and the Patient Participation Panel offers a safe space for people to have their say in an honest and friendly environment.
"We want to hear all types of feedback (positive and negative) to help influence changes and make the services we offer better for our patients. Please help us by sharing your views, or by encouraging family and friends to attend this event. Your support can help make a difference to your local community, to the service we provide, and the way that we engage with our patients."
Participation is open to everyone, not just patients, and there is no obligation to attend every session or stay for the full meeting. Panel meetings are held quarterly online, offering flexibility for attendees to join as their schedule allows.
To learn more or register for the next meeting, visit SWASFT's Patient Participation Panel webpage or email [email protected].
Residents can also join the meeting directly via the provided link on the website. Feedback gathered will help influence improvements to the service, making a tangible difference for communities across the South West.
