Hitting the target - thanks to local construction company Frome College is on board with the big surge in the popularity of darts
Inspired by a sixteen year old darts whizz and the biggest ever audience watching the perhaps neglected sport of darts, Frome students were inspired to ask if they too could get on board.
But the College needed help.
So an appeal went out and within minutes a local construction firm put to flight these, hitting the target for boards and darts delivered to the college ready for some action.
Roma Construction said they were keen to help because every school deserves a little 'dartistry' in their life.
The College put the appeal on social media just a day ago :
They posted : " With the high profile success of teenager Luke Littler, a large number of our students have asked to play darts during break times. Having found a willing, supervising adult, all we need now are some dartboards . Does anyone have a dartboard lurking in their shed, or cupboard under the stairs, that they no longer want, and are willing to donate to the school? "
The College use a game of darts as a lure to get kids working well in class - which seems to be hitting it just right.
Roma Construction said: " We couldn't resist a speedy response to the teacher's social media SOS. Result? Dart-astrophic fun delivered within 24 hours! Check out Robbie's epic handover – proof that even serious construction folks can't resist a good game of darts! Share the laughter, share the love! ❤️ #RomaConstruction #FromeCommunityFun "
