Horse Rescue at Spring Gardens, Frome.
Date: 13.11.2018Time: 09:38Location: Spring Gardens, Frome.The Fire Service was called to reports of a horse stuck in a river at the above location. Fire control mobilised a fire appliance from Frome and the Specialist Rescue Team from Bridgwater.
Once the crew got in attendance they got to work liaising with the vet that’s on site and the owner to formulate rescue plan. The horse was released from the river by the owner of the horse with the assistance of the fire service in attendance. The horse was lead the safety and checked over by the vet on site.The care of the horse was handed over to the owner and the fire service left scene.
