A team from the University of Bath will be visiting Frome on Tuesday 6th June, to talk with local people who they hope can help them shape their future research.

The team are looking for people who have more than one long-term health condition and are experiencing low mood or distress. If this sounds like you, then the team would love to hear from you. More specifically, they'd like to invite you to attend Frome Medical Practice to discuss your experiences in more detail.

Two small, friendly meetings will take place at the practice on 6th June, one from 9.15am - 10.45am and the other from 11.00am -12.30pm. If you're able to attend you will be given £50 for your time and refreshments will also be provided.

Dr Jeff Lambert is the University of Bath principle researcher on the project and said, "The perspective of people with lived experience are incredibly valuable to shaping research studies. We are hoping to speak to people with long term conditions, who are also experiencing low mood or distress, to get feedback on our ideas. This will help us make our research as meaningful and impactful as possible."

Frome Medical Practice will be hosting the meetings, but they are open to anyone locally who feels they can contribute. You do not need to be a patient of the practice to participate.

If you're able to join one of the meetings, or if you'd like to know more (including if you can't attend but you're interested in sharing your views) please email Masha, one of the research team, to register your interest at [email protected]
