Frome Cricket Club continued their winning momentum with a 210-run victory over Bridgwater second XI.

The opening batsmen made an enormous 245 partnership with Lewis' 170 runs overshadowing Lett's respectable 88.

Lewis made excellent use of the powerplay by amassing his half century in just 19 balls. Lewis continued to dominate the Bridgwater attack throughout the majority of the innings, with Lett and S Croker (21) supporting.

After an impressive display of batting, the Showmen had accumulated 346 runs.

With the openers putting the game thoroughly out of reach, the bowlers began just as well as the batsmen with R Croker (5-38) gaining three wickets from his first over.

An incredible run out from debutant Wood followed by his figures of 1-40 meant Bridgwater needed a miracle to bounce back.

The showmen had the opposition 7-5 but after a brief recovery from Bridgwater, Frome's final bowlers Veal (1-17) and M Sanger (2-5) polished the game up for Frome in the 24th over.

Frome travel away to Taunton Deane for the final game of the season.

Frome 1st XI won by 210 runs.

Frome 1st XI 346-4 off 50 overs.

Bridgwater 2nd XI 136 all out from 24.3 overs.
