In case you missed it - the partial eclipse photographed over Frome

In case you didn't manage to see it thank you to Mike Read for the amazing photos of the partial eclipse on October 25.

He wrote: " The enlarged version shows the shadow of the moons surface – jagged valleys and mountains. The full disc image was taken 2 mins before the end of the eclipse. "

A solar eclipse (partial) is when the moon casts a shadow on the earth, these events happen on average two or three times a year but the next partial eclipse to be visible in the UK will not be until 29th March 2025.
