Are you looking to host an event or party ? Or an extra special celebration such a wedding or christening ? Then the perfect venue is closer than you might think, set in hundreds of acres of rolling countryside, with two colourful guardians who bring something extra special to your day.

The Peacock Restaurant and Stag Lounge set in the middle of the Orchardleigh Estate is somewhere special, priding itself on offering a personal and unique event, to suit most budgets and with an extra brilliance.

While the lounge and bar can easily accommodate up to one hundred guests, it is the personal touches which the staff say will set them apart.

Bespoke events with a stunning backdrop

The Peacock Restaurant and Stag Lounge  is, as the name suggests, named after two very important residents, the gorgeously plumed Eric and Ernie, who can be spotted wandering the grounds.

While the décor is very much stately home, the team make sure that even the most modern flourish can be accommodated, with each event personalised for you, from weddings to christenings, graduation celebrations to funerals, through to business and networking events.

With views across the estate and the golf course, it is a perfect photo backdrop for something special, and if your Peacock event has more than 30 guests the room hire is free*.

Behind the gates of the estate, you can be guaranteed a lovely menu and personalised service, with management keen to make sure everything is exactly as you would wish.

They have an extensive choice of dishes on offer, but you can also cater your own buffet* Because the estate is privately owned, there is nothing they cannot try and make happen to make your day and if you want, overnight stay, even more special.

Friendly, Welcoming and Delicious

The restaurant can comfortably seat 70, but if you prefer a buffet-style menu both rooms can be used for up to a hundred guests, while parking is extensive, and of course, free.

For wedding parties at the Peacock Restaurant the bride and groom are welcome to stay overnight, extending the celebrations to include all friends and families for a next day breakfast as the newlywed couple. If you wish to have your actual ceremony within Orchardleigh Estate that too can be arranged, please visit www.Orchardleigh.net

For other private functions, staff say that they will help you manage any personal touches, such as helping you with fireworks and hot air balloons, but do remind their guests that it is a working estate so they will need to be sympathetic to those who share the land.

The owners of Orchardleigh Estate were married in the main house, which is open for wedding services, as is the small chapel in the grounds which for romantics can be held in candlelight. While managed separately, the management team at the Peacock Restaurant can help you get exactly the event you want, and are happy go the extra miles to keep you happy. Christenings too by prior arrangement at the local church, which is consecrated.

Events can be as elaborate or as simple to suit your budget and taste.

Birthday parties, graduation celebrations, weddings, funerals, christenings and corporate events, the Peacock Restaurant  is a versatile space open to all. For more details and to discuss your plans call 01373 454200 for a no obligation consultation.
