This was one the bins set alight up on Catherine Street in the early hours of Sunday morning in Frome (October 11) .

The authorities are being very cautious about connecting it to a spate of arson attacks in this area of the town over the past two years.

However residents have taken to social media to thank the fire service who attended the fire and warn again that it is only a matter of time before someone is hurt in these attacks.

In May this year the police, through the crime stoppers scheme, offered a reward of a thousand pounds for any information leading to an arrest of the Frome arsonist.

Earlier that month there was an attack on a four-floored building on Selwood Road in Frome -which the fire service ruled as arson.

Back in February a popular local butchers shop, H.E Williams and sons was destroyed just around the corner from Selwood Road on Badcox.
