Frome Nub News has spotted a vacancy for a Healthcare Assistant working at the Community Hospital. The post is for an enthusiastic, motivated and compassionate person. The successful candidate will have previous HCA experience and ideally an NVQ 2 in Health & Social Care but this is not essential as you will be provided with an internal induction programme and opportunities to develop skills. Main duties of the job working with patients who have undergone surgery or been medically unwell to support their rehabilitation. They should also have a genuine interest in nursing older people who may need encouragement to meet their full potential in order to return to their own homes. They are looking to recruit a permanent night shift person working at Whatley Quarry. • Applicants must be enthusiastic and willing to learn. • They will be working as part of the team and will be expected to carry out a variety of tasks within the production process, which will include housekeeping and spillage duties, operating small and large mobile plant i.e., forward tipping dumper, mini digger and skid steer. and operating the static plant. • You will be expected to work weekends as and when required throughout the year. • Previous experience would be an advantage but full training will be given.
