Do you love the outdoors?

Wessex Lodge School is looking for an outdoor instructor paying up to £25,000 upwards per annum. Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

About the role

The successful applicant will work within a team, and sometimes lead on outdoor activities on and offsite, with an ability to adapt activities for students with SEMH.

You will support the leadership and management team for the school. This will promote a secure foundation from which to achieve high standards in all areas of the school's work.

You will teach pupils across the full age and ability range present in the school 8-18 in order to ensure the highest possible standards of students' achievement, personal development and wellbeing. Support students with outdoor education activities on and off site.

A vacancy for an Installations Manager

Working for the Frome double glazing and conservatory company, Permaframe Home Improvements Ltd, a leading installer of conservatories, orangeries, double glazing windows, living spaces and doors.

Your main duties will include:

  • Being responsible for ensuring that all installations deliver a quality product in an efficient, cost effective and timely manner, providing first class customer satisfaction.
  • Being responsible for reviewing contracts, issuing work to surveyors, and assisting surveyors with any technical challenges, ensuring all external and internal contractors achieve deadlines.
  • Being responsible for scheduling work for our fitting teams and other external contractors ensuring that all building work runs smoothly.
  • Be the first point of contact for liaising with all trades to ensure a smooth continuity of work and a first-class operation for customers.
  • To attend site to oversee any issues that may arise with the installations, ensuring health and safety is adhered to, site housekeeping standards are maintained, and the client is satisfied with the installation.
  • Ensure contracts are completed on time and to a high-quality standard.
  • To develop excellent working relationships with external and internal stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and dealers.
  • To work with the Head of Installations to collate data from both internal and external sources to provide evidence of quality issues and costs.
  • To maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training opportunities.
  • To maintain quality services by establishing and enforcing organisational standards.
