An award-winning lockdown film has launched a new series which will be returning to make part of the movie magic at Frome's Orchardleigh.

The award winning film Malcolm &The Magpies 2020, which was filmed at Orchardleigh in the house and around the golf club last year, is to return to film a new comedy series based on the pilot feature film.

The Series will be called The Magpies and will feature a number of celebrities including Frank Harper and Bernie Fineman. But the star of the show may well be an amazing three wheeler De Lorean.

The film Malcolm & The Magpies 2020 also stars some home talent - with Frome based Connie Burgess.

Filming was not just confined to the house and golf club, you may have spotted the crew out and about on the back roads around the Frome area. Connie went to school in Frome and Frank Harper visited and stayed on location while filming was underway, as did actor Michael Suluk who is a keen golfer.

The film production company tell Nub News that they will be taking delivery of the De Lorean next week to start pre-production.
