Local planning news for Frome this week : parking spaces for a site on Vallis Road

In planning news in and around Frome this week:
The builders and timber merchant Sydenham's which has a network of 37 branches throughout Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Avon, the Isle of Wight and Guernsey, will be expanding their presence in Frome.
They are planning a new distribution site and have put in an application to create a parking area in what was once a former quarry on Vallis Road.
It is for the space alongside the T H White agricultural repairs site, which closed in April 2018, at postcode BA11 3EN.
In documents associated with the planning application to Mendip, the company said it will be running 10 flatbed lorries, together with two articulated lorries, with additional trailers ready to be loaded or unloaded. It is anticipated that there will also be the need for around ten parking spaces for their employees.
In other planning news: An application has been made to build a garden cabin at 13 Somerset Road, in Frome, which is a conservation area. A planning application has been put in to build a rear single storey extension at 3 Wedmore Close in Frome.at Hill House Farm Hill House Farm Lane have been approved with conditions.
