Frome businesses are taking different routes to operating under lockdown.

In the photo you can see the new lockdown layout in the River House cafe on the Bridge in Frome.

Hunting Raven books is still operating but you can call in your orders (or order on line) and has had a big shout out from one of its customers.

On social media they said they telephoned up yesterday at around 4pm for a book and had it delivered to their door (free delivery!) within an hour or two. They added : " Thank you for finding a way to still serve your customers in this difficult time."

If you want to follow how Frome businesses are keeping operating during this second lockdown you can follow some fantastic town photos on twitter.com/fromephotos.

Businesses even if they are not essential may continue offering delivery and click-and-collect services (where items are pre-ordered and collected without entering the premises) under the latest lockdown rules. People can also leave home to collect or return orders from these businesses.

Shops which must close include:

- Clothing stores and tailors

- tobacco and vape shops

- electronic goods and mobile phone shops

- charity shops

- photography studios and antique stores

- car and other vehicle showrooms and other premises, including outdoor areas, used for the sale or hire of caravans, boats or any vehicle which can be propelled by mechanical means. However taxi or vehicle hire businesses can continue

- car washes.
