Just when it seemed spring was here, wintery weather is back.

Tonight (March 1) temperatures just dipping below zero later so Somerset gritters will be out early doors across the network.

The travel team have been warning drivers, as always - please take care and mind the conditions.

For 2022/23 Somerset gritters will cover around 900 miles or 21 per cent of the total roads across the county. The cold weather is forecast to continue into next week, with minus 3 expected overnight Tuesday and some sleet showers.
