Frome do you need some guidance in finding your way to the perfect (?!) MP

By Susie Watkins 4th Jul 2023

The by-election in Frome is certainly getting hotter.

The Liberal Democrats, who have their candidate readied for the past year, anticipating the demise of the former MP David Warburton, have set up shop in the Station Approach in Frome. The other candidates have been out and about in the town, some less visible than others.

You can get your chance to put your questions to the candidates at a hustings at the Cheese & Grain on Sunday July 16 from 3-5pm

It is not clear who of the eight in the running will be appearing, but all of them have been invited by the Town Council ; you can book your place and submit your Frome questions HERE

If you need a recall on who is standing - and contact details for the candidates - that is now live at the Democracy Club site ( except the UKIP candidate Peter Kevin Richardson).

All the others have contact details and a profile on who they are and why they are standing.

Democracy Club works with the Electoral Commission, Somerset council, and hundreds of volunteers to produce the non-partisan voter information websites WhoCanIVoteFor.co.uk and WhereDoIVote.co.uk.

The Somerton and Frome by-election is being held on 20 July.
