Ready 4 Rugby is a new and exciting inter-club non-contact game which is the maximum activity permitted at present under the RFU's Return to Rugby Roadmap for the Community Game.

On Saturday the Men and Women at Frome RFC took part in the first inter club matches, with five teams being made up made up from players at the Club.

It was the All Stars versus the Pig Wrestlers in the Grand Final in a gripping encounter. The men in Blue, Black & Grey taking the spoils in a golden point decider.

Frome RFC Director of Rugby, Cameron Hastie, said: "It was a worthwhile exercise with some great tries scored and it was good for the players to play some rugby again! It was a clear step up in intensity from just training and we look forward to the next round of games over the coming months. Let's hope return to match play is not too far away."

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise the day.
