In case you missed it, one of the central parts of the Frome Town FC fundraising earlier this year was a chance to rename the stadium in return for a donation.

Well that name has now been revealed.

The Robins will no longer be playing their home games at Badger's Hill, instead they will be in their nest.

Along with the rename, the club has unveiled a wall of thanks for those who helped it realise the fundraising target as we reported on Frome Nub News.

You can read about their journey to raising £20,000 here: the Frome Nub News site

One of the other fundraising ideas was that fans, and others, could have their name on a seat in the stadium. As you can see here, the manager Danny Greaves can take a bit of a rest off the pitch on his own personalised seat.

In other football news they have also announced that Derek Graham will be the new club Chairman.

In a statement on their website he wrote: "The new board is clear in what we want - a unified Frome Town FC. Joining everyone together from the youth team to our Supporters Club. We have been working hard on building meaningful relationships with all elements of the wider club, and I'm pleased to report that they are all with us. We will now go forward as a unified team, working together to rebuild Frome Town FC after these awful trying times of Coronavirus."

Meanwhile the Club will be playing a local derby tomorrow (September 1) playing Radstock Town FC, over at The Miners' ground. That match, kicks off at 7.45pm.
