ON a very dreary day in Frome some dazzle as local carnival club brings home some well-deserved wins

The local carnival club Oasis has brought home some big wins.
After two carnivals the results for Warminster as follows :
1st in class, Spectators' choice
Best in procession Best Tableau pose ( Jamie Wilson)
Joint 1st Best lighting Bridgwater Carnival 2nd in class.
Frome Nub News has done several stories on the local carnival group - and how hard they work to raise funds to bring this uniquely Somerset event to the streets. They have been struggling financially since Covid stopped the processions.
But this weekend they were at Bridgwater Carnival with this amazing entry entitled "In The Air" . They posted : " we can't wait to get back on the county circuit after three long years." You can follow the Oasis story HERE
