A new community-based initiative, Wellbeing Frome, will be at a central cafe, The Good Heart , on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday offering help and advice from a wide range of therapists.

This new initiative is a community group set up to help support people in Frome to access complementary and natural therapies, no matter what their income.

There is lots on offer:

On Wednesdays the focus will be on touch relaxation and movement therapies which can help with a range of physical health conditions, along with depression, stress and anxiety.

Thursdays it will be the herbalists who will be hosting a drop in session from 10am.

Herbs have been used to treat a wide range of physical health conditions including digestive issues and sleeping problems and the herbalists are offering their time by contribution. Medicines themselves (plant based) must be paid for and cost around £10 per week.

On Friday it will be a time for Reiki therapists and energy balancing.

There is no need for a medical referral just drop in to book an appointment.

One of the team will be sitting in the cafe to book appointments for any of the therapists and help with any queries.

The therapists are also hosting a well-being day at the Cheese & Grain on February 1. During that event, there will also be Mosaic Healing, Indian Head Massage, Accunect, and blood analysis, more details on our What's On page.
