There was a bit of a misunderstanding for Frome Nub News about who was taking on the butchers at the bottom of Stony Street in Frome.

Very happy to set the record straight and very much hoping this new cheese and wine bar WILL be open in time for the next Frome market.

Friends Sarah and Abi are planning on opening the former Penleigh butchers as soon as possible.

Sarah Helliwell (left) and her friend and business partner Abi Bowles certainly know their wines with the former a head of wine at Stony Street - hence the confusion.

Sarah told Nub News : " We are opening a Cheese and Wine shop in the site with a small bar area, the business is a new venture and not connected to Eight Stony Street as mentioned, there may be a little confusion as I have previously been the Head of Wine for Eight Stony Street, this is however a new business co owned by myself and long term friend Abi Bowles. We're so excited to bring this to Frome given that we both live locally. "
