Planning news in and around Frome this week:

An application is in to reduce the height of a Horse Chestnut tree by up to four metres and the lateral growth by three metres on land to the rear of 14 Hillside Drive in Frome. Ref. No: 2022/1304/TPO

And an application to re pollard a large Lime in the rear garden of 6 Valley View in Frome. Ref. No: 2022/1290/TPO 

While in Chilcompton an application is in for a single storey conservatory on top of a basement store at North View on Frys Well. Details under Ref. No: 2022/1324/HSE

Planning decisions made this week by Mendip include:

An application to replace the rear windows with wooden framed double glazing units at 43 Keyford in Frome, has been withdrawn.

An application for a loft conversion, including three rooflights and the addition of bifolding doors at the lounge end of Castle House on Church Street in Nunney has been approved.
