Planning decisions include : Approved with conditions, an application to convert an attic into create additional bedroom with a new dormer window and balcony at 2 Portland Road in Frome. A retrospective application by Orchardleigh, Golf Club Limited over towards Buckland Dinham for alterations to the clubhouse and installation of play area, has been withdrawn. Within the application it is noted that Orchardleigh House, which was designed in 1856 and completed in 1859, has remained almost unaltered from the date of its construction. Approved with conditions, an application to replace external wooden doors at 37 Lower Keyford in Frome. Planners have refused an application to demolish an existing single storey lean-to extension and build a two storey extension at 22 Whittox Lane in Frome. There is no objection to an application to cut back a Yew tree at 5 Bridge Street in Frome. Approved with conditions, an application to replace a window with a new doorway and the creation of steps at7 St Aldhelms Court on Green Lane in Frome.
At the Westway Shopping Centre in the town centre, at Unit 2, which was earmarked to be taken over by the Peacocks, planners have agreed to allow two air conditioning condenser units to be put into the back of the site, along Cork Street.
In Nunney planners have approved, with conditions, plans to build a detached domestic outbuilding (garaging, storage and games room) at Bear Inn on Holwell Hill.
There is a split decision on an application to prune a Sycamore, Spruce and Cypress at number 62 Oakfield Road in Frome and to fell an Ash tree at the same property.

And the owners of land at 380492 153954 Cheap Street in Rode have applied to re-pollard their Goat Willow tree. That is under Ref. No: 2021/0293/TCA
