Local cider maker Lilley's has put in an application for a change of use to turn a stable block into a cafe and artisan sales area ancillary to the Lilley's Cider Factory now on the Roewood Farm Estate, in Bunns Lane Witham Friary. The company moved out of Marston Lane in Frome in April 2020. The application details are under Ref. No: 2021/0391/FUL
There is an update on the Caxton Road development in Frome. Under
Ref. No: 2021/0359/VRC the developers have applied for an amendment which involves the replacement of two open market dwellings with 4 x 1 bed affordable flats (taking overall dwelling total from 157 to 159, where the outline permission permits up to 160). The family at Crossways Cottage at 17 - 18 Tuckmarsh Lane in Marston Bigot, have applied to put a mobile home at the address to provide affordable housing for family members. Open for comment Ref. No: 2021/0354/FUL. There is an application for a change of use from agricultural land to a residential garden, which involves the extension of an existing bungalow and erection of agricultural barn. Under Ref. No: 2021/0372/FUL you can see the details for the application involving Windy Ridge, on Tinkers Lane in Newbury, Frome. An application is in to build a single storey rear extension at 69 Mendip Drive in Frome. That is under Ref. No: 2021/0446/PAH. Homeowners want to build a garden room at 8 Beechwood Avenue in Frome. Details under Ref. No: 2021/0353/HSE. Numerous tree works have been proposed at The Blue House on The Bridge in Frome. The application is for felling a Chanticleer pear tree, reducing the height of a Rowan and to fell a Strawberry Tree, a Monterey Cypress, fell one Poplar and reduce the height of another Poplar, and fell a Goat Willow and a Birch. All the plans are open for comment under Ref. No: 2021/0466/TCA And an application is in to trim a Leyland Cypress at 25 Nunney Road, under Ref. No: 2021/0498/TCA. Also approved the application for approval of details reserved by conditions for landscaping on planning consent 2015/1944/REM for Eastgate Buildings n Christchurch Street East in Frome.
The application for a proposed lawful development certificate for a proposed single-storey side extension at 16 Priddy Close in Frome, has been successful.
An application for details reserved by part-discharge of condition 4 (materials colour of timber cladding and windows/doors) on listed building consent 2019/1661/LBC, for 4 West End Court Frome, has been approved.
