Planning news in and around Frome this week:

Tree works planned at Langham House on Rode Hill in Rode. Details under Ref. No: 2021/2867/TCA which include pruning three Cherry trees at the location.

An application is for a single storey extension at 85 Mendip Vale in Coleford. Ref. No: 2021/2795/HSE.

Also in Coleford, an application for a two storey rear extension at

The Cottage in Highbury Street. Details under Ref. No: 2021/2651/HSE. An application is in for approval of details reserved by conditions 3 (Re-pointing), 4 (rainwater goods), on listed building consent 2021/1135/LBC for 5A Paul Street Frome Somerset BA11 1DT. Ref. No: 2021/2888/APP. Planning decisions made by Mendip this week. Planners have agreed to an application by 15 Catherine Street in Frome to put in a bathroom with 'lead finished' 'flat roof' of lower pitch (amendments to approved 2019/1654/HSE and 2019/1656/LBC). Approved - an application for two non-illuminated new housing development signs - those are for the development planned by Barratt Homes for land at Green Pits Lane on Ridgeway in Nunney. An application to build a rear single storey extension and put in solar water heating panels to the south-west roof slope at 43 Wellow Drive in Frome, has been approved. The owners of Landsdown Mews in Frome have been given the go ahead to cut back a Lime tree on the property. And Hope Farm on Lower Street in Buckland Dinham, has had an application to remove the existing render from the house, and restore and re-point existing stonework, approved. Also approved, an application to fell a Sycamore, split the tree and reduce the crown of the other leader by 30% at 38 Innox Hill in Frome.
