Planning news in and around Frome this week :

1 Stanier Close in Frome has put in an application for a single storey extension to the front of the property. Ref. No: 2022/0821/HSE

Mendip planners have been asked to approve reserved -including the walling and joinery details on the application by 4 Gentle Street in Frome to build a single storey rear extension and to reconfigure internal spaces. Details under Ref. No: 2022/0844/APP.

And in Norton St Philip the owners of Longbow House at 22 Fortescue Street have put in a planning application to extend the ground floor living area to make a family/dining room. Ref. No: 2022/0508/HSE

In planning decisions made by the department this week:

The siting of a mobile home at 23 Horn Street in Nunney is lawful.

The conversion of a barn at Brookover Farm on the Frome to Radstock road in Buckland Dinham into single dwelling has been approved.

Building of a single storey rear extension and associated patio at 9 Styles Park in Frome, has been approved.

They have decided prior approval not needed for an application by Faulkland Farm on Grove Lane in Faulkland for an agricultural extension to an existing building.

They have ruled that plans to build a single rear extension at 1 Mendip Drive in Frome are lawful.

Also ruled lawful, an application to build a single-storey rear extension at 8 Magnolia Close in Frome.

They have approved an application to convert outbuildings at Orr Cottage at 2 Black Lane Bullens Mead in Chantry into ancillary accommodation.

Over in Norton St Philip an application for change of use from an office into a residential unit at the Estate Managers Office 73C Fortescue Street, has been approved.

Approved, plans for minor internal changes, and to replace a rear patio and to remove and replace an apple tree from the front section of garden at 18 Frome Road in Beckington.

And in Stratton On The Fosse the proposed change for two conjoined agricultural buildings into one home and four new private garages at Green Lane Farm has been approved.
