Planning news in and around Frome includes:

77 Park Hill Drive in Frome Somerset has put in an application to build a two storey side extension and replace the existing garage. Details under Ref, 2022/1109/HSE

At 19 Styles Hill in Frome, the homeowners have put in a planning application to build a single storey rear extension and first floor rear projection following demolition of existing single storey rear extension. They also want to build a cabin following the demolition of some existing outbuildings. Details under Ref: 2022/1013/HSE

Over in Wanstrow, Oaklands Farm on Long Lane, has put in an application for prior notification of the agricultural development for a proposed building. Details under Ref. No: 2022

And in Chewton Mendip, along East End Lane, there is a planning application in ( 2022/0944/FUL) for an agricultural machinery storage building with adjoining honey extraction and bee hive storage rooms. Sweet.

There is a Frome Town Council meeting of the planning committee tonight (June 8) which has been brought forward.

In planning decisions made this week:

Approved, an application for a dormer loft conversion and single storey side extension at 50 Rivers Reach in Frome.

The Royal Oak at 2 Oakfield Road in Frome, which put in an application for a change of use so that an outbuilding could be converted into a takeaway has been given approval of details reserved on condition 3 - (Ventilation System), 5 - (Flue Materials) on planning consent 2021/0668/FUL.

The homeowners of Kaylow Rosedale Walk in Frome, have been given the go-ahead to build a single storey rear extension.

Working hours at the former Butler And Tanner Printworks on Caxton Road in Frome have been approved by the agreement of the detail reserved by condition 25 (Operating Hours) under planning consent 2015/1392/OTS.

At 70 Rodden Road in Frome the homeowners can start building a single-storey rear extension and a rear dormer, after planners gave their consent.

Over in Oakhill, they have approved an application for a two storey rear extension, external alterations to the existing dwelling and formation of residential access at Longacres on Pound Lane.

In Whatley, planners have approved application for approval of details reserved by conditions 6 (Materials), 8 (Surface Water Drainage System), 9 (Drainage - Foul), 10 (Parking and Turning Areas), 13 (Contaminated Land - Floor Slab) on planning consent 2020/0160/OTA, which concerns Lower Whatley Barn .

Approved, an application to build a single storey extension at 41 Marsh Road in Rode.

In Beckington, a new sports pavilion building can be built at the Recreation Ground following planning approval.

And in Marston Bigot, Marston Mains Farm on Tuckmarsh Lane, can go ahead and build a slurry store.
