If you love a bit of folk and want to help out behind the scenes at one of the biggest festivals in the area, we've got you covered.

The team at Priddy Folk Festival are on the look out for stewards to help visitors and musicians throughout the festival.

Roles include helping with site set-up, venue admission, and safety stewarding. You could be helping the visitors and musicians, stewarding the car-park or helping campers find their pitches in the camping fields.

In return for two four-hour shifts spread out over the three days of the festival, you will receive a free weekend ticket (with camping included if you would like it) and a warm welcome to the team.

Roles include:

  • Site Crew Team – You'll be part of a team that helps to build the festival site (such as putting out seating and putting up fences) and dismantling after the festival finishes. This role does involve manual labour both indoors and outdoors, so you will need to be physically fit and enjoy the weather. They will need people during the day on Thursday and Friday before the festival begins, and on the Monday after the festival closes.
  • Venue Team (Concert Marquees, Dance Marquee, Childrens' Marquee, Village Hall, Workshops)– You will be part of the team welcoming people to events (Admission Stewards) and ensuring audiences are safe throughout the festival site (Safety Stewards). There may be some light cleaning activities too. Venue Team roles are often the most popular, so apply soon!
  • Car Parking Team– Team members are needed throughout the weekend from 1pm Friday to 5pm Sunday to take money and help visitors and crews park safely. The busiest times will be during the day on the Saturday. You will of course have to work outside so please bring clothing appropriate for the weather.
  • Camping Team– You will be helping campers find their pitches, and being on hand to deal with any queries. Shifts are available from Thursday and throughout the weekend. Please bring clothing appropriate for the weather as you will be outside for most of the time.

This year's festival will be the 30th festival, and we headliners include The Jeremiahs and Dervish from Ireland, Fara and Kris Drever from Orkney and Tim Edey.
