Date: 15.03.2019Time: 00:19Location: B3092, Near FromeTwo fire appliances from Frome, along with a heavy rescue tender from Trowbridge were mobilised to reports of a road traffic collision in the above location.

On arrival, crews confirmed that a lorry had left the carriageway and ended up hitting a tree. Crews cut away parts of the tree to allow them to access the driver of the vehicle. As a result, crews were able to assist the male casualty from the lorry, who was then handed over to the Ambulance to be assessed.

Crews also made the vehicle safe before leaving the scene.
