Road Traffic Collision - Persons Trapped at Marsh Road, Standerwick, Frome

Date: 14.10.2019Time: 19:53Location: Marsh Road, Standerwick, FromeDevon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received a call from police informing us of a Road Traffic Collision at the above location.
Two fire appliances from Warminster and a heavy rescue vehicle from Trowbridge were immediately mobilised by Fire Control.On arrival, the Incident Commander confirmed that a single vehicle had left the road way and resided in a ditch. Crews got to work to stabilise the vehicle and make it safe, before releasing the casualty from the vehicle.
